-we also have a history TEST on TUES it will be on-mix and match, industrilasim, difference of the colonies and the principle of the region( local intrest)

-practice on ur drama of le chandeil something something... :P

-bring CANS they are to be brought on the last day which is MON
-also everyone who is in yearbook thank u for helpin in the snack booth

Thursday's Homework!

Hey everyone! Here is today's homework:


Science: For people that didn't hand in their lab reports today, make sure it is ready for TOMORROW. go to her after school or something to hand it in, because we don't have science tomorrow. Also, Ms.Phipps said that we're going to have a science test after winter break.


French: Finish that booklet of passe compose verbs if you didn't finish it today. Also, read your french book by day 10, which is next wednesday.


English: Finish your english book by day 10; wednesday..?


F.S.: if you haven't brought in your supplies/ money, bring them in for next class. Also, look through the moving out sheets if you haven't yet. Think about the countries you wanna do for the meal to remember thingy. Think of groups for F.S ( 4 groups - 3-4 guys & 3-4 girls [7 ppls in total])


History: we're gonna have an oral test tomorrow. You can use your notes, so make sure they're done properly.


OTHER
- Bring in cans .. i think the last day to bring them in is monday?
- The dance is TOMORROW, so wear your halloweenn COSTUMES to school! xD

Monday's Homework!

Hey! Well, here is today's homework:

History - read and take notes on pgs.23-28. Do question 2 on pg.28 ; due on WEDNESDAY.

Art - Finish drawing & colouring your postcard picture thing.

Drama - For people that presented their skit today, and for people that presented last class, but didn't finish their reflection, finish it for TOMORROW. Soniya will be collecting them.

- Work on your tableau for the book "Le chandail de hockey" with your group that you were assigned. We are presenting NEXT CLASS, so be ready.

Math - Finish your math journal if you haven't done so already. It is due TOMORROW. I'm pretty sure it can be done in your notebook..(?) Anyways, the question is: When you multiply 2 natural numbers (the set of numbers [1,2,3,4...]) the product is never less than either of the 2 numbers. Is the same true for the product of 2 integers? Justify your answer.

French - For people that didn't get to present their athlete today, you are presenting TOMORROW, so be ready.

OTHER - Do Community Service

- Read in both English & French

- If you're part of the "Mathieu Da Costa" or "Racism. Stop it!" group, do some research for the next meeting

AAHHHHHHHHHHHHH I completely forgot about me blogging :( i am sooooooooooo sorry....I feel soooooo horrible .....anyways i know you have been waiting for EVER for it so......here is today's homework:

French:
-BOOK REPORTS ARE DUE TOMORROW!!! make sure your DONE  she said there will be NO Extensions!

English:
-The mini book report is due THIS FRIDAY!

Science:
-Finish the drawings and observation chart for the food colouring,vegetable oil and the tea bag
-Take a look at the 6 questions.I think she said they are NOT for homework.....please comment if you know. If you could not copy them down in time here they are:

1)How would you explain the proses of diffusion of the 3 samples?
2)How can the particle theory help to explain your results?
3)   a)Did the food colouring,vegetable oil and the tea bag move in all directions?
      b)Provide an explanation for your observations?

Here is the journal question:
When you multiply two natural numbers (set or numbers {1,2,3,4...} the product is never less than either of the 2 numbers is them same true for the product of the two integers? Justify your answer.

Math-Those who didn't finish the math sheet, finish it by tomorrow. We may have a test, but there's a greater chance that we won't have one because Mr.Matte was not here today.

French-Get your information on your athlete by tomorrow.
French Book Report-Due Wednesday.
Make sure to check for:
-verbs at present tense, correct the conjugation.
-Agreement article/noun/adjective (gender, plural, singular)
-Adj. possessif (mon, ma, mes) and adj. demonstratif (ce, cet, cette, ces)
-Order of words in the sentence (i.e adjective after the noun in most cases)

History-Finish the notes on page 18-21
We are going to have a history test tomorrow.

English-Finish your english book by next Thursday.

Girls-HEALTH RETEST ON TUESDAY

French: Well, in class we did nothing except for jumping around like baboons on sugar so just get your test signed (if you got under 75% that is)  and bring them in for Mdme. Mihailescu.... OH! And work on your book report it's due next next tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Math: NONE!!! Mr. Matte said "Technically, giving homework on long weekends is against TDSB policy"!!!! YESSSSS!!!!! So, just think of some ideas for 13 - (-21). Oh wait... I think i lied, if you didn't do all the questions you have to do those... Here they are:

Drama: Congratulations on your performances everyone!!!!! Great job! Anyways, if you haven't presented this week YOU ARE PRESENTING NEXT CLASS! Get it? Got it? Good. French - Work on your book report ! Also, finish "le vocabulaire" page in the "Le Texte Documentaire" package Ms.Mihailescu handed out to us today.

English - Finish the Haiti sheet (Question 6 & the longer answer question). Make sure you look over it for no spelling mistakes and no repeated ideas. 

Science - Make sure you finish the questions she gave us last class & don't forget to study for the test !

Girls Health - The test retake is on Thursday after school so if you plan on taking it, make sure you study !

Mondays Homework!

Hey guys sorry this post it so late,

Here the homework

Math: Finish Jack and Jill journal, due on Wednesday.

English: Finish Haiti paper and due questions 1-5 due TOMORROW!

Science: We have a test next week after thanksgiving Monday on Wednesday the 13.
Things that will be on our test will be:
1. Microscopes
2. How to make a dry mount and a wet mount 
3.Know your organelles and what they do!

We also have these questions:

1. Explain why a microscope should be stored with its low power objective lens in position.
2. Why should the course adjustment nod not be used with high power objective lens ?
3. Which magnification would be most suited for scanning a slide to find a certain object?
And today the stain we used was Bromo Thymol Blue.


For girls
Health retest is on Thursday after school.
 Also bring gym clothes for gym on Wednesday!
