Tuesday's Homework!

Hey everyone! Well, I'm going to do the blog today, since Hannah wasn't here... btw, sorry for the late post.. :$

Math: If you havent finished the journal given today, do it. Also, if you haven't finished any previous journals, make sure you have them finished for TOMORROW.

Science: We have a test next Thursday. If you worked on the Cells&Solutions today in class, make sure you have proper diagrams done.

Language: Make sure you have your 4 ads for next class. Also, work on your book report; both, the oral AND writtin part is due on MONDAY. Read in English.

French: Read in French. Read at least 5 minutes of your book out loud.

Art: Do research, so you can finish your sheet on your country you chose today. That is due next art class.

F.S.: If you haven't already, talk to your group about choosing a country to cook from. Also, find recipes for the country as well. Each member of your group has to contribute.

OTHER:
Buy your classmate a secret santa gift if you haven't done so already (max. $15, min. $10)
Be ready to bring in at least a little something in for the class party.
Mathieu de Costa & Racism Stop It! peoples, the deadlines for the things are approaching really quickly! I think everything is due THIS WEEK Mr.McLean wasn't here today or yesterday, so he didn't get to check the work, but he'll probably be here tomorrow or something. BE READY TO SUBMIT IT.

Monday's Homework

Hey everyone! Here is today's homework:

Math: Finish any journals that you haven't handed in, and hand them in no later than TOMORROW (?)

Science: Work on your metaphor books; they are due TOMORROW. Work on your "Cells & Solutions" if you haven't finished the procedures yet. We are going to have a science test soon (not sure when.. ?), so be ready for it.

Language: Bring in magazines/flyers/newspapers/etc. to class tomorrow. You will need the advertisements in them for the media assignment we got today. Also, work on your oral & written book report; it is due MONDAY.

French: Read your french book; ORALLY for AT LEAST 5 minutes. She said not to worry about the french book report 'till AFTER you've completed your English one.

OTHER:

Friday's Homework :)

Kawther hasn't blogged yet... and some people need the homework so here it is (Leila ;), srry I just saw it now)

Math: Do the journal we got Friday. Also if you haven't finished any past journals finish them and get them in asap. Mr.Matte will read out a list of people who owe work.

Science: For our assignment "Cells & Solutions" be ready to continue or start working next class. Work on your Metaphor Booklet... due Tuesday.
We have a Science test... this week? or next?.. I'm not sure, could someone comment? :D

English: Work on the book report we got.
Bring in newpapers,magazines, etc. to start working on our media project preferably Monday if not Tuesday.

French: Read your French book :). We will be getting another period to work on our story and then we're typing it up sometime this coming week.

F.S: Find recipes from your country (group project). Your group has to find a recipe for a side dish, appetizer, main dish and dessert.
If you still haven't handed in your Moving Out, hand it in!

Since Chrystal is sick today and Emma hasn't blogged yet I'll blog :P.

English: Finish the connection questions on "Buy Nothing Now" due Thursday.

French: No homework for French because we will be working on the short story in class but read in French :).

Science: Work on your Metaphor Booklet due next Tuesday and the Cells & Solutions due this Thursday.

Drama: Finish the tableau worksheet and the question she gave us

Thursday's Homework!

Hey everyone! Here's the homework for the weekend:


Math: Finish the sheet he gave us in class about the radius, diameter&circumference if you haven't finished it yet. Finish the math journal he gave us today for MONDAY.


French: Read in French. There will be a book report due in 2 cycles (20 school days) on your french book.


English: Read in English. There will be a book report due on day 10 on your english book.  


F.S.: Decide within your group which country you want to cook from. Once you've decided that, you need to find dishes/ recipes to cook aswell. Make sure you have it in at least 2 classes (?) before your actual cooking class. BE READY.


Science: Work on the metaphor books (due at the end of November) & the assingment on "cells&solutions" (due soon .. not sure when; sorry. can someone comment please ..)


OTHER:
Mathieu de Costa & Racism Stop It people have to work on their writing/ art work/ videos, etc. We have a meeting on MONDAY.

Kay, so Leila's at the doctorss, cuz she's not feeling well, so i'm going to do the blog for her. Anyways, sorry for the late post. Here is today's homework:

Math: Finish the page Mr.Matte gave us today, on the octagon & circle.

Science: Work on the metaphor book & the individual assignments called "cells&solutions" (the procedures, materials, etc.)

French: Read your french book (we will be getting the layout for the book report that will be due in 2 cycles [20 school days from now])

English: Read your english book (we will be getting the layout for the book report that will be due on the next day 10.

History: If you haven't finished the chart thing, that you were supposed to finish in class the other day, finish it. BTW, WE HAVE HISTORY TOMORROW.

Math: Be ready to hand in your math journal for tormorrow and finish the sheet we got (even questions.. 2,4,6,8 etc.).

French: Finish the first 4 pages of the booklet on contractions & read :)

English: we don't have anything but remember to read :)

Science: The Metaphor Booklet is due by the end of November :(. She changed the date, so get working on it. Finish the gummy bear assignment and hand it in to her a.s.a.p it you haven't done so already. We had to hand in our Assignment folder at the end of the class so if you haven't get it to her.

Monday's Homework!

Hey everyonee! Here is today's homeworkk:

Drama: Finish the reflection on "why is your part/ role important in the tableau/ story?". BTW, we are presenting NEXT CLASS, so be ready.

French: The good copy for the book report is due TOMORROW. I'm pretty sure everyone got their rough draft back today after school, when she was handing out the pictures. You will need to hand in your rough draft with the corrections AND your good copy in your FOLDER.
If you havent finished the booklet that was supposed to be done in class today, finish it for tomorrow.

F.S.: Moving Out is due on WEDNESDAY. Make sure it's completed properly.
If you havent brought in your money or supplies yet, make sure you bring it in next class.

Science: Finish  writing the title, problem, hypothesis, materials & equipment, and at least 1/2 of your procedures for TOMORROW.
Okay, as for the test we were SUPPOSED to have tomorrow, it got postponed for another day. Ruth & I went to her after school today, and she told us that she wanted us to finish this experiment before we did the test, since she wanted to make sure we understood the difference between osmosis and diffusion. So, THERE WILL BE NO SCIENCE TEST TOMORROW.

Art: The page for art is due on MONDAY.

Math: Finish the assignment on the global community&undernourished people for TOMORROW. (ALL 3 pages, double sided [6 sides])
We will have a TEST TOMORROW. Things you need to know for the test = you need to know how to represent patterns in at least 4 different ways [ex. Model/diagram, words/expression, table of values, graph, etc.], you need to know how to read and extrapolate info from a graph, and you need to know how to find an expression for the nth term & use the expression to make predictions.

History: If you haven't finished the venn-diagram on the economy (which btw, was supposed to be done a while ago), then finish it.

OTHER:
Read in both French & English

Hey everyone, here is todays homework:

Math: Finish the assignment he gave us about the global community & undernourished people; due MONDAY.

French: i dont think your french good copy is due on Monday, since Mrs.Mihailescu hasn't finished correcting them, and because she wasn't here today, so some people didn't get to hand them in.

English: You were suppose to finish up your extention today in class, and hand it in, so i don't think we have any english homework. Correct me if i'm wrong? (:

Social Studies: Finish your venn-diagram on the economy if you haven't done so already; note - it was due TODAY.

Science: Finish writing the title, problem, hypothesis, materials&equipment, and 1/2 the procedures for NEXT CLASS ; TUESDAY. There will also be a test on TUESDAY aswell, so study.

Drama: Our next drama class is on MONDAY, and you'll have to present your tableau, so be ready.

Monday's Homework!

Hey everyone! Here is todays homework:

Math: Finish your math journal for tomorrow (pascal's triangle)

History: We have a TEST TOMORROW. Make sure you STUDY. It is on: the vocabulary (mix & match), about the different types of industries, the differench between the different colonies, the local interests (for ex. the local interests for Canada-Uni would be the "projet union", to help with their trading and stuff, while for les Maritimes, the local interests would be something like building ships and stuff, since trains will have no use to them.)
The deadline for the 3 diagrams on the gouvernment, the population, and the economy got extended until THURSDAY.

Art: the art project is due on November 15th, which is next class.

French: Finish at least THREE pages in the booklet we got today, due on Wednesday, since tomorrow, for french, we will be doing language.

Science: Make sure you got all the notes on photosynthesis, etc. because there will be a test next MONDAY.

F.S.: Moving out is due November 10th, which is next WEDNESDAY. Make sure you've started to look for apartments, etc.

Language: Finish your summary on the story "Chicken Sunday" for TOMORROW. The lady that came in last time to talk about theme, is coming again tomorrow, so the summary NEEDS TO BE DONE.

Drama: Work on your tableau with your group; due next class, which is next MONDAY.

OTHER:
- Read in both French and English
- For people that are participating in the Mathieu de Costa, or the Racism Stop It! video thing, make sure you gather information on what you want to do. Our next meeting is on next MONDAY.
