Monday's Homework!

Kay, so here is today's homework:


Math: Finish any unfinished work (the venn-diagram, the page on measures of central tendency [the question on the board was this: What is an outlier? How are measures of central tendency affected by outliers? Use examples in your explanation.] , etc.)


History: We will continue reading chapter 4 tomorrow with Mr. Smith. After, there will be a page you have to fill out.


Language: Bring a book to read tomorrow for English. The red maple books are due on WEDNESDAY, along with a book report on it.


Science: Finish the page that was assigned for homework the other day.


I.T.: ALL the projects are due TOMORROW. Tomorrow's class will be a work period to finish the projects off. The projects are the timetable, the travel project, and the photoshop one. (For people who dont know what to do for the travel project, Ruth is going to post it later).


Health (boys): Ibrahim said there was a health test you have to study for.. ? :P


OTHER:
Read in both French and English.
Community service hours.

    Using flightcentre.ca and hotels.ca, provided a comparison table that shows the TOP 3 deals for a 7-night vacation in Honolulu, Hawaii for New Year's 2011.

    The trip is for 2 adults and the travel dates MUST be from Wed., Dec. 29, 2010 to Wed., Jan. 5, 2011. Only flights with 1 connection should be considered.

    Departure City Airport Code – YYZ (Pearson International)
    Arrival City Airport Code – HNL (Honolulu International)

    Hotels must be between 3.5 to 4 stars and located within 5 km of the city centre.

    Using Microsoft Excel, insert a new worksheet in your existing workbook and create a table that contains the following information. Your worksheet should have 2 sections – FLIGHTS and HOTELS.
